I didn't really wanna go to work tonight, I have two finals on monday and really wanted to study for them, but I had promised I would work, so I had to. Plus the extra cash wouldn't hurt for chistmas.
We were valeting at a museum that was on a four lane road near the whitehouse. (17th and E for anyone in the DC area) We had one lane completely full with cars that we were valeting, so most of the cars were going into the other lane. There was another event on the next block that was causing traffic too, so some people were pulling illegal u-turns and driving back the other way. A guy in an A4 wagon tried to make the illegal u-turn and ended up hitting an older pathfinder that was sitting in the lane. The guy in the A4 decided that he was gonna take off, so he speeds down the street but stops at the red light. I decided that his guys not gonna get away with this, so I run and stand in front of his car, so he has nowhere to go when the lights turn green. Another valet called one of the secret service bike cops over, where they take him out of the car and take all his info, and even take the info of a few guys who saw what happened. Apparently he would have been taken to jail if the guy in the pathfinder had stuck around. We were hoping that the guy in the A4 would have been fucked.
Later on in the night there was some crazy 5 on 5 guy brawl oustside of some restraunt and a ton of cop cars rolled up. They broke it up, but one of the guys looked like he got his ass kicked (worse than me)
The best part of the night, of couse, is the fact that I got to drive another M5.
:naughty:
God I love those cars. I turned sport mode on as son as I got in the car. Damn did it sound good. When I got back to the museum we were valeting at I got out of the car and held the door as the owner walked up. He then was about to hand me the tip, but saw a huge smile on my face, and said
"Wait, lemme check the odometer. How far did you drive it?"
Me: "20 Miles at the max sir, no more that"
Him: "Haha, Glad you enjoyed it. Have a good night kid"
Then he handed me the tip, and left leaving a little bit of rubber on the ground.
Easily one of the coolest guy's I've ever valet'd for. Good tipper too.
:D
