Not All SUV's Are Created Equal


There are six 2003 SUV's on the market that have been placed under one category- the Volvo XC90, BMW X5, Lexus RX 300, Mercedes M-Class, Acura MD-X, and the Ford Explorer. This is one category that greatly influences the sales of each of these SUV's. What do they all have in common? That's the question!:scratch:

Maybe it's just me, but crash safety ratings and such never even register on my list of things to look for in a car.

Especially since I think those ratings are bogus. An F150 tests very poorly because it crunches badly when you run it into an offset wall. Yeah, duh, it's heavy.

But, I don't know anyone who's ever run into a wall, people wreck into cars. And a civic might get 5 stars, and an F150 1 star, but when the two hit each other, I'd rather be in the F150.
