So, no Safari Rally for 2003?

The FIA, motorsport's governing body, has announced that the Safari Rally has been dropped from the 2003 World Rally Championship calendar.

Following a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council in Paris the FIA released the following statement: "The Inmarsat Safari Rally has been excluded from the 2003 Championship calendar because the necessary guarantees for the event had not been given and the ASN had failed to meet its obligations to the FIA."

im going to the RAC rally next year, and maybe this year,(when is it btw?). actually i should really say the Rally of GB

If I find a way, I am going to that rally in Germany in July. Lol, the other guys in France will think I'm crazy, they'll be headed down the beaches in Spain and I'll be going to watch cars spray me with mud. :smoke:
