You don't. Which is why 993s and previous 911s have been known to have huge oversteer. 996s have moved the weight up front a little I think and have adjusted the suspension to compensate.

yep, the earlier 911's hadsome big time oversteer. take apple_jacks 930S for example, the engine is sitting over the rear axle, with some weight behind the rear axle. sure there is other componetry to even out the weight but having so much back there makes for some tricky handling. once you master that handling though, you will be suprisd at how fast you can tear the car through turns or a track. ou just have to learn to use the oversteer and wicked turn it.

ya, but I'm pretty sure that's a 996 turbo, correct? And I'm just going by the brake calipers and the rear spoiler.

And the fact that it has a rear seat makes it a Turbo.

There! I edited it and found a better picture. You can't see the pushrods, but you can see the rocker springs (I believe).

Once again, I love Eric's car:drive:

An S2000 ousted Lingenfelters twin turbo Vette? Whoa:naughty:

911GT2
Good....i hadn't read that you changed the pic and I couldn't find the damn pushrods!

I think A-tech was talking about the red x that appeared when the picture didn't work. But for some reason, in A-techs post, the old picture is working:scratch:

Ah, I see it now. It used to be a red X.

How the hell did you get hold of those? Ferrari never lets anyone get hold of its blueprints or diagrams to the best of my knowledge?

those just look like computer design models, you really can't even infer anything from those about the motors, it was probably for an autoshow or ad, maybe a presentation for investors.

Unless it's a 3D model in wireframe without colour looked at sideways.

But likely just an ad.
