View Thread: Car parts serving other purposes?

Any of you have car parts that are serving other functions? I have this blown piston from my old 2.3L Mustang that now serves as a pen holder. Note the crater at the bottom courtesy of a blown ring. There's all kinds of shrapnel embedded in the top of it too.

My car seat doubles as an ass holder.

I've got a wrecked piston off one of my old motocross bikes. Paper weight, pens.

if you put a 150Shot of N20 on your bone stock prelude, make sure you have adequate feul delivery, or your #2 piston will end up as a paper weight

I had a feeling it had something to do with NOS, I bet the kid(s) could recite Fast and the Furious in 14 different languages.

I can actually recite alot of that movie. Mostly because I worked at a video store and we could only watch PG-13 movies. I kinda got to the point that I thought it was so bad that it was good.

I like the movie for auto eye candy (minus drag racing ugh), but as far as all the elements of a moving picture, it has about none of them. I could see it being one of my favorites if I worked at a vid store though. I'm guessing Mr. NOS-powered-piston not only could recite it but lived by it. That's the worst part.

I'll admit, I actually didn't mind TFATF for the most part. Maybe it's because of the complete lack of car movies these days. Hell I figured any movie that featured a modded RX-7, Supra, and Skyline couldn't be all that bad. There was plenty of rice but it wasn't that bad.

There were only 2 Prelude's in TFATF. One 4th gen in the background of one of the street racing scenes. And one 5th gen at "Race Wars", I think it was blue. :D

And I also figured the H22A piece came from NOSSSSSSSSS. Crazy kids! :curse:

masestylez
I've heard of a real race called "Race Wars", based off the movie or the movie used it? I like Gone in 60 Seconds a lot more, but your right there is a sad lack of car movies nowadays, teen movies though usually have some nice cars in them. Or at least cars I don't see around here or very much at all.

There's lots of good car type movies coming out. I mean look at that Biker Boyz movie coming out...nevermind. :ghey: :tahoe:
