P-1345 is a code that came back when autozone checked the Miata I'm looking at to see why the check engine light is on. They said it was a manufacturer specific code so I need someone with a Mazda code book to tell me what it is. So does anyone have any idea? Rotery Boy?

I went on Google and found this definition for it. What does this mean?

P1345 Mazda Cylinder Discrimination Signal (from CMP sensor)

It's a signal from the camshaft position sensor, so it'd have to be somewhat involved in that. Could be a fucked valvetrain or just a need for recalibration.

I wouldn't narrow it out of your Miata search. I would however insist on it getting inspected before any cash is given over.
