Well, I was right behind one today for about 20 minutes, till the guy turned off of Coldwater Canyon and into the mansion's driveway. I actually think it was a woman driving it with a male passenger. Pretty fucking aggressive for a female driver too, that's why I have my doubts.

It is LOUD. It hurts your ears, and I saw it did have mufflers. Quick too, but on one stretch where the driver floored it to get away from me, I was pulling on him and at a fairly quick rate, not that my hoe is your everyday tahoe.

Anyway, it looked just like the pic above, and it had FAT tires. I really like it's looks, even though it's butt ugly to most people. Think about it, this is from the early 80s...it's a pretty tough truck, and its gotta countach engine, so it definately is something I'd want to have. Anyone know how much these would cost these days??

The driver was agressive, but was kind of retarded I believe. Or she/(midget he, with long hair) wanted to annoy me with his refusal to shift from first, (yes FIRST); and his extremely annoying exhaust stink.

It was a pleasure to drive behind it though, and know that I pulled on it on the straight aways!

Eats hummers for breakfast, lunch, dinner and the occaisional midnight snack. :) But for reals they are huge, i've seen a pearl white LM002 once.

ya, it's supposed to do 0-60 7.5, and it was stick.

A vehicle that large going 0-60 in 7.5? Wow

Countach engine. It really isnt' that big. Smaller than the hummer, much smaller than the H2 (in height).

Bigger ain't necessarily better.

Maneuverability is key.

There was some discussion about this in another thread. Here is what I posted based off of info in a Lamborghini book I have in my car book collection. The problem is, the book was written in '89, so I don't have the facts for the vehicles after that date. Also the LM-002 was the version with 350hp and was replaced by the LM-004 which was more powerfull. Both models were evolutions of the Cheetah concept truck.
The Lamborghini LM-004 was a rig designed primarily for desert driving. It used a 7.0 liter v12 which put out 420 horsepower in its highest state of tune. The truck featured front and rear independent double wishbone suspension. The truck's forte was blasting across rough terrain at high speeds. Despite its 6,400 lb curb weight, it could still run 0-60 in 8.5 seconds and had a 128mph top speed. Most were sold in the Middle East. I happened to see one this summer, black, only one I've seen in my life. Yeah, I'm a bookworm!


The engine wasn't really straight from a Countach. It was based off of the same engine but had more displacement and torque was a higher priority.

The v12 only produced a 0-60 of 8.5? I'm certain the one I was following was much faster than that.

My book is old though, if it was produced after my book, it could have had different stats. Plus I think some of the stats in the book were a little conservative. What kind of car where you tring to run with it with?

It sure looks a helluva lot bigger than the Hummer in every picture I see. Are the tires as wide/tall as a Hummer's?

ksaile, I was following it with my tahoe. I run low 7s to 60, and that was on a wet road.

Mases, it's smaller than the hummer, its width is about the same as the hoe, but it's taller. The tires are FAT.
